The initial state of the backyard primarily consisted of a lawn extending from an existing screen porch. The homeowners’ objective was to create a functional and aesthetically pleasing outdoor space. They desired features to include a patio with a fire pit, a large outdoor kitchen with multiple cooking options, a dining area, and a putting green for golf practice.
The U-shaped outdoor kitchen is fit for a chef with a Rec Tec pellet grill, built-in Blaze Luxe Grill, double Blaze side burner, blaze refrigerator, and finished with a farmhouse sink with a utility faucet.
Dark blue granite was used for countertops paired with a white painted brick base. Counter height overhang seating for four was designed to ensure unobstructed views from dining area windows.
The patio was constructed using Techo-Bloc Blu Grande slabs in grayed nickel color, with a herringbone pattern in the kitchen area.
As in every hardscape design, the FX Luxor low voltage lighting system played an important role. Ledge, pathway, down, grill, and up lights were integrated throughout the landscaping and can be managed directly from a phone app.
This comprehensive design transformed the backyard into a multifunctional outdoor living area, integrating sophisticated design elements with practical features tailored to the homeowners’ preferences.
